Audit, Brand Experience
Visual Integrity
Shoppers decide whether to trust a store in seconds, and they decide with their eyes. Visual Integrity checks that your brand looks like one brand on every page, on every phone and every desktop.
What we look atWhat it covers.
- 01
Typography
Whether your type is consistent, readable on small screens and doing the job of a hierarchy: what to read first, what comes next.
- 02
Colour
How your palette is really used across the store, whether contrast passes for people with weaker eyesight, and whether buttons and offers stand out where they should.
- 03
Art direction
Whether product photography, banners and icons share one look, or whether the store reads as several brands stitched together.
- 04
Mobile against desktop
Whether the design survives the move to a phone, which is where most South African shoppers browse and buy, or only looks right on the designer’s laptop.
- 05
Brand against store
Whether the store matches your packaging, social channels and marketplace listings, so a customer recognises you wherever they meet you.
Why it mattersWhat it is worth.
Inconsistent design quietly lowers trust. A button that looks different on every page, a banner in another style or a price that is hard to read all make a shopper hesitate, and a hesitating shopper leaves.
It also decides how much a brand can charge. A store that looks considered supports a considered price. A store that looks assembled invites comparison on price alone.
What you getWhat you take away.

A visual findings report
Each issue shown on the page it was found on, with why it matters and how serious it is.
- 02
Consistency map
Where type, colour and imagery drift between pages, templates and devices.
- 03
Prioritised fixes
The changes that raise trust fastest, ordered so you can start with the cheap ones.
How it worksThree steps.
- 01
We walk the store
Home, collection, product, cart and checkout, on a phone and on a desktop, the way a shopper would.
- 02
We check it against your brand
Your guidelines, packaging and channels are the standard. Where there are no guidelines, we note that too.
- 03
We report and rank
Findings go into the Audit report and the roadmap, ranked by effect on sales and effort to fix.

QuestionsQuick answers
Do we need brand guidelines for this?
No. If you have them we audit against them. If you do not, we describe the brand the store already shows and flag where it contradicts itself.
Will you redesign the store?
The Audit diagnoses. Fixes go into your roadmap, which you keep. If you want us to design them, that is the Build stage.
Is this part of the full Audit?
Yes. Visual Integrity is one of the checks inside the fixed-scope Audit, alongside the customer experience and commerce lenses.
